Title: Sir David King in an interview about solving climate change
Sir David King, the UK Foreign Secretary's Special Representative for Climate ChangeĀ talks about the role of technology to solve climate change.

Hug in the Snug - April 2014

As the third IPCC report seeks to explain how global warming could be kept below the 2C threshold from pre-industrial levels, Hug in the Snug sits down with Sir David King, the Foreign Secretary's Special Representative for Climate Change, to ask if technology can take us out of this climate mess. One of the solution suggested by Sir David King to mitigate climate change was to opt for solar energy production from deserts in North Africa and creating interconnectors to Southern Europe to import electricity.
