Green investment of 250 million euros with molten salt technology approved in Crete is approved

The implementation of a large green -as he characterized it- project in Crete, with a budget of 250 million euros, was announced tonight from Thessaloniki by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
From the podium of the 84th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), Mr. Mitsotakis pointed out that "especially at this juncture, two areas of politics are gaining special interest for our country: energy and the environment."
The Prime Minister noted that "the country must firmly enter the path of carbon dependence. To gain the lost ground in the utilization of mild forms of energy ".
As Mr. Mitsotakis stressed, "the next Interministerial Committee for Strategic Investments will approve a new solar thermal project for the production of electricity with liquid salt technology in Crete. It is a greeninvestment, amounting to €250m, which alone will cover almost 10% of the needs of Crete. And it will offer 500 jobs on the island during its construction ".
